Andrew completed his undergraduate dental and medical degrees at the University of Melbourne. He trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Melbourne and undertook further Fellowship experience in Seattle (University of Washington) in 1982/3. He has been A/Professor & Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital of Melbourne for over 20 years where he is active in the Craniofacial Unit. His main interests are the management of congenital and developmental facial deformity.
